Created as a pathway to the eventual certification and/or licensure of its students, our MACMHC program trains students in mental health counseling from a Christian and Pentecostal worldview. Our program prepares students to work with persons in a variety of settings, from the church to mental health settings.*
- 78 credit hours, comprised of 60 credit hours of counseling courses and 18 credit hours of Bible and theology courses
- Electives in individual, couples and family counseling, addiction counseling, and child and adolescent counseling
- Available fully online
*MACMHC satisfies the academic requirements for National Certified Counselors with the National Board of Certified Counselors and for Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselors in all 50 states in the United States. Internationally, mental health counseling recognition requirements may vary from United States criteria. Besides academic requirements, other state requirements include postmasters degree supervised experience, examinations etc. Students should inquire about licensure requirements with the board governing counseling licensure in their respective state.
