Global Institute for Ministry and Training
Dr. Michael L. Baker, President of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS) and Chancellor of Education, has just announced a new Partnership with the Global Institute for Ministry and Training (GIMT). GIMT’s vision is to make the Gospel available to the world of Islam by training and equipping Christians to be prepared to share their faith by presenting to each Muslim that God places in their path the salvific message of the Cross. More than twenty-three percent of the world’s population is Muslim, which means over one-fourth of God’s creations, His prodigal sons and daughters, are lost behind the veil of Islam.
The Global Institute for Ministry and Training is a non-profit organization that provides Islam Awarness Training, Weekend Training, Immersion Training, Workshops, Conferences, On-Site Evangelism Training, Internships and One-Week Intensives. It also makes available Church and Organization Partnerships, Individual Partnerships, Prayer Support Groups and Sponsor Churches.
The Pentecostal Theological Seminary-Online Programs include: “Discipleship and Christian Formation, Biblical Studies, Church Ministries, Church Ministries, Pentecostal Theology, Certificate in Wesleyan-Pentecostal Ministry, Pastoral and Professional Counseling Training, Programs for Ministerial Preparation, Ministerial Internships(Missions) and Leadership Enrichment.”
Dr. McNabb, President of GIMT, stated that he was extremely excited about the opportunity to work with the Seminary and Dr. Baker in this educational partnership. McNabb said, “It is our privilege to have this open door to come along side of PTS to assist in their efforts to provide timely and professional teaching, training and mentoring to the Body of Christ around the world.”
