Certificate in Mentoring & Coaching for Pentecostal Ministry
This certificate program is designed to provide students with a basic orientation to mentoring and coaching for Pentecostal leadership development. Contemporary practices of coaching and mentoring will be evaluated from biblical-historical, theological, and formational perspectives. Various discipleship strategies and ministry development processes employed in coaching and mentoring will be examined. Participants will assess their current coaching/mentoring practice and design and implement a personal coach/mentor development plan. Involvement in some coaching/mentoring relationship or experience is required for this course.

Learning Outcomes
To articulate the cultural, formational, and ministry realities contributing to the contemporary need for mentoring/coaching.
To integrate biblical-historical, theological, and formational resources in their personal model of mentoring/coaching.
To implement effective discipleship strategies and ministry leadership development processes in their practice of mentoring/coaching.
To evaluate their personal coach/mentoring practice and that of others.
To design, implement, and evaluate a personal plan for people development involving the practice of mentoring/coaching.
Program Requirements
Candidates for the CMCPM must complete 12 credits of prescribed coursework to be completed in two semesters with two sessions in each semester. Courses must be completed in sequence. Upon Completion of program, the graduates are invited to an in-person seminar as the Capstone experience of the program. The completion of the seminar would allow the participants to be Certified Coaches and Mentors by PTS. The scope and sequence of courses in the program are as follows:

CERTIFICATION PROCESS:
Upon completion of the above Certificate program, the graduates are invited to an in-person seminar as the capstone experience of the program. The completion of the seminar would allow the participants to be “certified mentors and coaches” by PTS.
