On February 7, Dan and Finnabea Moore were inducted into the PTS Hall of Prophets. The induction ceremony, moderated by Dr. Michael Baker, President of PTS, convened at Living Waters Christian Fellowship, Fountain Valley, California, where Dan and Finnabea spent thirty-eight years as lead pastor, and currently serve as Pastor Emeritus. Participating in the ceremony was Dr. Tim Hill, General Overseer, Dr. John D. Childers, Secretary General, Dr. Sean O’Neal, Dr. Charles Fischer, Deena Moore Querry, and the Celebration Choir of Living Waters.
The Moore’s pastored and evangelized for fifty-seven years in the Western United States, serving most of their ministry in the multi-cultural state of California. Dan and Finnabea have a rich heritage and background in pastoral leadership and church growth.
In addition to pastor and evangelist, Dan has served the Church of God in various leadership capacities—state boards and committees, World Missions Board, the Board of Directors for Patten University and West Coast Christian College.
Having a heart for missions, ministry travels have taken Dan and Finnabea to eleven countries, and the first Korean Church of God (Fountain Valley, California) was established in 1980 under their leadership.
Bishop Moore’s passion for God is seen through his commitment to prayer, study and teaching of the Word. His pursuit of purity is found in the integrity of his lifestyle; his love for people is reflected in his home, his church and the people he has touched around the world. Through their dedication and faithfulness, Dan and Finnabea leave a legacy of pastors and leaders within the Church of God.
Dan and Finnabea have three beautiful daughters, who, along with their husbands, are loving and serving the Lord. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Congratulations to Dan and Finnabea Moore!
