Kwame Frimpong is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health at Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
He holds a master’s degree In Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a PhD. in Counselor Education & Supervision from Liberty University.
He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia since 2022. He is also a National Certified Counselor
Dr. Kwame has 6 years of experience as a mental health professional. For over 30 years, he served as a pastoral counselor
Before joining the ranked faculty at PTS, he served for two years as an Adjunct Professor, teaching a variety of courses in Clinical Mental Health at Montreat university Ashville NC
He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association of Counselor Education & Supervision, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
His research interests include Human sexuality in mental health counseling, and providing sexual education to parents while empowering the clergy and laity on sexual health.
